Fungi Perfecti offers discounts for bulk purchases of our pure culture spawn of gourmet and MycoMedicinal® mushrooms. Each bulk order of spawn must be of a single species. For instance: an order for 250,000 dowels of plug spawn for Grifola frondosa and 250,000 dowels of Pleurotus ostreatus would be considered to be two separate orders of 250,000 dowels each, not a single order of 500,000, and would be priced accordingly. Custom spawn of species not listed here can be generated; please contact us for pricing and availability.

Plug Spawn
Plug Spawn is available in bulk orders of 10,000 dowels or more. Bulk Plug Spawn is sent in a spawn bag with filter patch. Each spawn bag contains approximately 3,000 dowels. The following species are available:
Sawdust and Grain Spawn
Ready-to-inoculate, pure mushroom spawn is offered for five species. We maintain stock of these species for use as inoculum into bulk substrates. Fungi Perfecti's Grain Spawn comes in two forms. The first is a first- or second-generation Grain Master in a reusable 1-gallon glass jar fitted with an autoclavable lid and Synthetic Filter Disc (approximate yield per jar: 2/3 gallon). The second is a first- or second-generation Grain Master in a disposable Spawn Bag with Filter Patch (approximate yield per bag: 1.25 - 1.5 gallon). Each Grain Master can be expanded to up to 1000 times its mass. Sawdust Spawn is offered in a 5-lb spawn bag with filter patch. Turnaround time for most orders is 2 - 3 days; however, occasional backorders may occur. Please check the availability and estimated date of shipping for your spawn when ordering.
