Fruiting Temperature: 75–77 °F

This choice edible is similar to the common white button mushroom (A. brunnescens) but prefers warmer temperatures.  As with other Agaricus species, it requires a casing layer for optimal fruiting. It can be harvested as a young button or left to mature as a Portobello.
