Ron's Sautéed Mushrooms

From Ron French.

4 cups sliced mushrooms
⅓ cup white wine
⅓ cup soy sauce
⅔ cup margarine or butter
¼ teaspoon garlic powder (not garlic salt!)

(Always put either button mushrooms or any sliced up edible mushrooms in a dry pan and put on high get some of the water out of them for about 5 minutes before putting into the sautee' mixture) In a separate sauce pan, you add all the ingredients and bring to a low simmer. Add the mushrooms and simmer for 15–25 minutes according to your taste. (Remember the longer they cook the more salty they will get, but you want tender mushrooms) You can use these as a side dish or you can put on chicken or steak.

ENJOY!
