Paul recently recorded a video message from the ancient citadel of Machu Picchu, Peru (see below). In it he explains that, where most people see the surrounding mountains, trees and rivers, he sees a vast network of mycelium: permeating the forests, enveloping the roots of trees, cleaning the waterways, helping to support and sustain life in all of its many forms. A viewer commented that "I See Mycelium" would make a great theme for a T-shirt, and we agree! Originally printed for FP staff and Paul's friends, family and associates, the response was so positive that we decided to make them available for sale. This black, 100% organic cotton T-shirt features a striking lightning-bolt-like thread of mycelium in blue and white ink. Above it, the phrase "I See Mycelium" is emblazoned in white ink.
